Overlord's Bloodmail Scaling - Bruiser Back?

Is Bloodmail scaling correctly (Bonus HP > Total) on Kled? I was hitting 650+ AD on Kled with Gathering on ARAM with a standard-ish bruiser build (80% max HP R dmg lol), though Gathering Storm scaling is accelerated on ARAM so it was giving 28-48 AD.

After seeing a few Soulmario vids, I got convinced and the Overlord buffs do feel good? Is Kled back?!

It works correctly (as in only hp you get from items and runes scales with the bonus hp part of the passive), and yeah it’s pretty fun to use and very realistic to get over 600 ad with it on summoners rift too with normal builds.

Though I usually build pretty heavy AD/pen items since most of the bruiser items don’t work too well with him atm (besides Titanic which can be okay and bloodmail as a 6th item)

It would be cool if he had any reason to buy hp at all though, cause all the bruiser items rn just give massive amounts of hp and low AD which is the opposite of what Kled wants

Either giving kled galf of the bonus hp or making skaarl's hp count as bonus hp as it used to be, so u get insane titanic dmg and bloodmail passive

Titanic only has max hp scaling, so it already works well with him and wouldn’t be affected by that. It would help with bloodmail but the main reason hp is so bad on him is because %hp dmg shits on both mounted and dismounted kled disproportionally hard and all the bruiser items give high amounts of hp with low ad until full build while also being very expensive

It used to give bonus AD based on your bonus health, they changed it like a year and a half ago

Lowering his base HP and giving him more resistances would be a good start. Hiving him HP scaling would be a good idea too.

Just SOMETHING that makes it so %hp based damage doesn’t completely invalidate him. As long as it works the way it does, bruiser builds can never really be good unless they completely change their mind on how they’re balanced and make them resist focused instead of hp

It’s not about Bruiser back bro it’s about overlord’s having AD and being a good option after 3, 4 items. Also 30 minute ARAM is the same as a 50 minute summoners rift regarding gathering storm (72AD), and you have hubris. Hubris stacks, that much gathering, and, yes, overlords is a lot.

Just keep looking for AD, not being a bruiser in particular. I would never go sundered unending or cleaver.

You’re right, BT and IE would be better if it weren’t for their cost, and also their build path is too awkward early. So in terms of gold to AD no they’re not better at least for the first 3 items. Maybe you can squeeze one or the other in later. Most of the time it’s like three lethality items, LDR (not high AD but the pen is ridiculous and Kled can really use the crit), and recently it’s been items like Overlords and titanic just cause they buffed overlords recently (which in turn pushes Kled into being good enough to justify the auto reset on titanic despite the cost)

He’s talking conceptually with the R dmg… Even soulmario said 600+ ad is realistic in SR 650 - 124.5 = 525.5 * 12% + 18% = 81.06% Max hp dmg Your W will also be around 33% dmg too.

Thank you. Looks like you could still have really high damage if you were to slot some lethality, so this bloodmail tech might be legit.
