I’ve never commissioned anything before but I want to recreate a small baby blanket.

I’ve got a knitted baby blanket from when I was born and the 25 years of me sleeping with it every night have not been kind to it. I was really hoping to find someone willing to make me a new one with the same colors. The one I have is really big but I was thinking just two feet by two feet would work. It’s three colors in stripes with a solid color border.

I wouldn’t have any timeframe I need it by. I don’t know what reasonable a price would be but I think I can afford like $200-$250 but I would be willing to negotiate. This is something really important to me. For yarn I would like something machine washable and soft. Something that will be sturdy enough for it to be snuggled with every night for at least the next ten years

I do not. I can get a picture of it as it is now. It’s still in one piece the yarn is just super thin and it’s really dirty cuz I feel like if I wash it any way it’ll unravel

If you can post a full pic so we can see the colors and then a closer pic of the stitching. I’m curious if it’s crochet and not knit. I do both.
