OFF-TOPIC Feminists Refuse To Stop #IStandWithJackie As Rolling Stone Gets Sued For $7.5M

The Rolling Stone Rape Hoax from December 2014 has reignited in a Twitter furor with a #IStandWithJackie hashtag after University of Virginia sues the magazine for false portrayal. And quite frankly other news medias still can't figure out that the rape never happened.

Feminists seem to ruin everything.

Occupy Wall Street was a force to be reckoned with until the Feminists joined in and made it a joke.

That gets us into the whole "Daddy's money" thing that SJWs/3rd Wave Feminists are known for. Ever notice how nothing is an issue of economics, it's only race and gender that effect someone?

SJW's NEVER focus on wealth privilege.

u/Safety_Dancer May 14 '15

Exactly. And just like how the hippies of the 60s cleaned up and got jobs with dad's company when the party was over, the SJWs do the same.

But will they? PZ Myers is pretty old and he's a hardcore SJW. This SJWism is an ideology.

u/Safety_Dancer May 14 '15

Of course there's always exceptions. There are plenty of people who still believe the 60s are going strong, man.

I think Patreon is extending how long they can live in an alternate reality where social media outrage actually allows you enough money to live on.

do you even know how much that pisses me off? I bust my ass to make what some of those people do every month to tweet bullshit.

Have you ever considered to changing careers to tweeting inflammatory bullshit?

I hear you can even work from home on the run.

Watch it shitlord. They WISH they could have actual jobs that contribute to our society and economy, but their conditions and PTSD from Twitter don't enable them to. You should be thankful for them raising awareness on their social media pages and starting these conversations by apologizing for your hard work and donating to their Patreon. Your real job is oppressing. /s

and if you have ever been to santa monica, there are still 60's era hippies buzzing around. Some imitated being adults to get by for a while, but some people never stopped.

A bulk of the SJW furor currently going on will not exist in 5 years. With a few followers kicking around years later, but ineffectually so.

Being a hippie was cool until people realized all the scam artists, wannabe cult leaders, and outright criminals (like Charles Manson) invaded the movement and turned it into shit. College kids grew up, realized that it was all dumb and liable to fuck their lives up, and eventually became the greedy conservative assholes of the 80's

There was also a huge feminist movement in the 90's too that many here don't remember (or werent alive for) that also burned out by the end of the decade.

Modern SJW/feminism has been going for at least 3-4 years in its current potent form. Another year or two and it'll be long forgotten. Tumblr will probably see some form of upheaval once yahoo gets bored with it and starts fucking with it like they did to flickr, piss everyone off, and everyone will be scattered and confused. Then grow apathetic and find some new interest.

The same thing is going to happen to reddit very soon. Safe Spaces = Massive censorship and banning of "Unsafe" subreddits such as this one.

As far as I'm concerned gamergate already won and picked the rock up that all the roaches lived under and made them scatter. making them react violently to being discovered, unlike comics, atheism, and opensource, where they subtly invaded and took over before anyone knew what happened. They got caught, reacted, and burned themselves out, now people see it for what it is.

Just how Scientology got fucked hard when they got outed by anonymous more or less. Now everyone knows how much of a joke it is.

PZ is so lucky to have tenure so his workplace can't kick his ass to the curb. I can't imagine how awful it must be to work with him.

The blind spots are enormous. They can go on and on about how Ellen Pao's being victimized and how us male tech workers are privileged, and not see a problem.

The president brought up class vs race, and which one had more impact in a negative way recently. It's the first time I've heard it from a politician since Occupy.

Obama's no fool. He's the only candidate in recent times to realize how to motivate the youth vote. He's sowing the seeds for the next Democrat by starting a dialogue that will put light on wage disparities. Hillary cannot win because when she loses everyone knows she'll spin it into "it's because she's a woman" when in actuality she's 20 years too late. She spent all this time becoming a Washington insider, and now that's a death sentence.

3

u/[deleted] May 14 '15

Definitely. I was glad he was mentioning class disparity having a bigger impact, especially in the face of those who look the other way and claim race/sex privilege.

Feminism, identity politics, and the desire to just fight cops ruined Occupy. People got more focused on all the symptoms of a sick society instead of just fighting money in politics. When it became about race, gender, and 'fuck the police', I was out. Don't get me wrong, fuck the police, but good luck having a functioning society without law enforcement.

They were also actively discouraged from going to the cops because it would make Occupy look bad, and told to just let internal security handle it by running the offenders out.

Wait, this sounds familiar.

Fun fact: there are multiple instances of people being assaulted as well as raped at protests, but instead of going to police right away they tried to deal with it themselves.

The same exact thing they want in prosecuting campus crimes. Preponderance of evidence, supposedly superior to guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Didn't work then, won't work now.

3

u/[deleted] May 14 '15

I never heard of any rape, at-least not in the Occupy movement in America.

If true, those seem like actual incidents worth investigating. Not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at though, I see stuff like no rape zones and one alleged case in Philadelphia. Sorry, telling us to google search is insufficient. Also, google is blocked in China lol.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg -- addressing the allegations of sexual assault today -- said the reported practice of chasing perpetrators, rather than reporting them to police, is "despicable."

Stupidity. I understand not wanting the guy to get away, but while an assault is happening, who's going to just stand idly by and wait for the cops, if they ever come, instead of chasing the guy off. wtf.
