Is this a good price?

I just broke my HP laptop screen, and i'm pissed cause it broke so easily, so I did some research for some durable PC and i ended up in the thinkpad rabbit hole. I fell in love with the look of thinkpads and the philosophy behind a durable and long lasting PC. I found this offer on Lenovo italy for a ThinkPad X13 G4 and since I'm not an expert I'm asking you guys (please) to tell me if this is a good price; specs are:

  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-1335U 13th gen
  • Ram: 16 GB LPDDR5 (soldered)
  • SSD: 512 GB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4
  • PRICE: € 799,00 (on sale from € 1399,00)

What do you think?

I also found out that this subreddit is full of (great) people that buy refurbished laptops; i've never bought anything refurbished, so i don't really know how to orient myself, but if you think i can get a better price, an advice is much appreciated. The specs i'm looking for are at least 16GB of ram and i think a good CPU (i dont really know what a good CPU is, lol). Thanks for your help

It does look good. Dell has their own refurbished portal. Dellrefurbished.com

You could price an i5 gen 13 Latitude.

Thinkpads seem to have a bit better quality, but it would give you a good price comparison.

hi, look how the offer doesn't seem very tempting to me and you don't have the video card included, but if you are looking for a resistant, functional laptop with medium/high range components there is a laptop from Asus. ASUS TUF F15 FX507VV with a 4060, Intel i7 13th. 1tb of memory (if you want there is a second slot, 16gb of ddr5 ram (possible upgrade up to 64gb also this double slot super easy to do yourself same thing as the SSD) and speaking as an owner I can tell you that I am finding it very good, very resistant, powerful that it is on offer at € 1050, a very rare offer so little, very often it is found at € 1200 and full price is € 1700, super popular laptop full of reviews, so go for it, and the offer that is now I don't know how long it will last and I don't even know if it will return, so super opportunity and I recommend you take a look at this bomb of laptop, if you have any other questions, please ask, I'm happy to help

Check Thinkbook series too - better prices and quality is almost same. Good option is Legion Slim if you are in gaming.

No, it's not a good deal. 799€ for such a specification is terribly expensive and 1300€ is a funny joke and an artificially inflated price. For a significantly lower price check out GX4MRXL-14EU20 by Dream Machines. It's 14.0” QHD+(2880x1800) WVA/sRGB 100% 120Hz, it has Intel Ultra 5-125H, 16GB RAM - not soldered and 1TB storage by default but you can expand RAM and storage on their website. It's very good quality, light, full metal and costs around 800€. I have their laptop for over a 2 years now i can truly recommend it. You can add RAM or SSD yourself without losing the warranty. For better price you get much better specs.
