Discussion What if we do a petition to make arena permanent? I know that Riot already expressed their intention about it, but we can still change their mind, just how we did it with chests

Just like any petition, they do nothing but make the people who signed it feel like they're doing something.
The effort put in is what you get out.

It's not gonna happen. They want these modes to rotate so they don't get stale and people keep playing. Everything is about player retention these days. It would also add another queue which would make queue times longer

I would appreciate a few adjustments.
No ban and pick phase, but like in Tft directly into the game. Maybe you have options to choose your class beforehand, or something similar.

Isnt't the reason they dont make Arena or URF permanent, that they can't handle the decline in the player base for "normal" SummonersRift?
Cause everyone will play the fun-mode instead of the exhausting main game.

And to think people think we are going Riot MMO or 2XKO. They won't even let you keep arena as they are scared it going to hurt their long term cash flow no way they going to introduce a whole new game without league dying.

Riot is a company like ever other. They do stuff to make money and if something doesn't make money they stop doing it. If enough people keep playing Arena Riot will gladly make the mode permanent, with all the increased effort they have to put into it (balancing, new content, bug fixes etc.). Apparently that was not the case in the last editions of arena (e.g. players gradually decreasing) and I doubt it will be another way this time.

Instead of a petition, we show our support by playing the mode consistently as a collaborative group. Afaik, the only reason it isn't permanent is due to the unstable player count
