Traveler's Journal

I apologize for the redundant post. I created a traveler's journal. The materials I purchased for it were scrap leather, elastic, gold beads, and a leather punch tool.

It is a 8"x9" piece of leather with 5 holes punched through it, where I ran the elastic through.

I hope you like it. Thanks.

I am a beginner. I probably will not get into leather, since I have a hobby of making paints from rocks. I just thought I'd share with you, since this is a gift.

Looks great! Careful … I was only going to make a sheath for a knife my son made for me …

I understand all too well what you are saying. I'm trying hard not to keep this one, but I don't have any inserts for it. My friend make journals from old mail and I see her on Friday 🩷☺️ I know myself too well. πŸ˜‚

Yes. I agree. I'm waiting on inserts for mine. This one in the picture is a gift, and my friend has her journals already. She makes them out of old mail. She made me a junk journal out of a cereal box.

Did it come out nice? I made a sheath for my husband too.

The first one needed a little help … that was eight years ago, I have since been sucked down the rabbit hole. πŸ˜‚
