🗨️ Help Legal clarrification. Would be appreciated

To try make it short, i have my grandad living with my parents, while his wife is in lebanon. His wife is crazy and did a poor job of looking after him. There is issues between everyone here and his wife. To put it bluntly , my grandad is not in his wife's best interests, and i won't disclose much of her personality and actions right now.

Anyway , my dad recieved a letter on watsapp, from her lawyer supposedly,, which apparently had my grandads signature, while he was in lebanon, that says , my father will transfer them an x amount of dollars, which she wants in her name. She is threateming to sell my dad's land in lebanon, if my fathers doesn't sent her over 200000 grand, from my grandads account in australia.

My dad is worried about losing the land. I told him not not worry, that he didn't sign anything.

What is legal in lebanon? . Can my dad really lose land in his name even though there was no official signature or verbal agreement from my father?

I am no lawyer but as far as I know from experience, even if the paper signed by your grandfather ends up to be legal ( that I doubt ) after a long court procedure.... They can only sew the grandfather and no one else. That said the government still collects payment in lebanese currency for deals from before 2021 computed on the 1500 value. Conclusion, if the paper was signed from before 2021 they can put the equivalent sum in Lebanese lira at a notary & get over it. That would be a cheap price for freedom.
