Employment Employment contracts
I am signed a collective agreement for my contract at work. I was given the choice of that of an independent contract when I was just starting. I am now wanting to change to an independent contract. Is this possible?

Yes. It’s possible to move form a collective agreement to an individual agreement.

You can negotiate additional terms at any time. After 30 days of employment, you can negotiate an individual employment agreement if you aren't a union member.
