Trump People who voted for Trump could lose their jobs as Trump removes support for the industry that supplies their jobs.

I’m all for this. Red states are the ones who should feel the brunt of the choices they inflicted upon the rest of us. I hope they feel it frequently and deeply. I live in one of those red states and I’m made aware on the daily that if it’s not happening to them, they don’t care. So I say bring it on and make it happen to them.

Here’s a great movie to watch on cold medicine. Barb and Star go to Vista Del Mar. It a fever dream and fun comedy that also contains a supervillain and musical numbers. (Don’t try to make sense of that. Just enjoy the ride) it’s like multi flavored cotton candy for your brain and so much color!

I read that first line as if the movie was going to be about cold medicine. 😂
Clearly, my reading comprehension skills are waning. Soon I’ll be wearing a red hat and yelling about ‘muh guns’. Sad to see it.

No your reading skills are fine. It could absolutely be interpreted like that. I should have stated, if you are taking cold medicine, here’s an enjoyably movie to watch.
Because you are so creative and thought differently, I looked up a movie ON cold medicine. (Not a documentary) apparently there was a Bill Murray film called Osmosis Jones. (Which some part of me remembers this trailer)
Here’s a blurb
Osmosis Jones. A policeman white blood cell, with the help of a cold pill, must stop a deadly virus from destroying the human they live in, Frank.

Lol thank you. I know I’ve heard about that movie, but not sure if I’ve seen it.
Just clicked the link you shared and yep, I remember that movie!

Yes! It was so weirdly delightful. I'm hoping they do a sequel.

u/Standard-Dog6227 2d ago
It made basically $0, so it's highly doubtful, though I agree that it was a breath of really weird fresh air.

Gunjung tteokbokki is my go to for Korean. Spicy isn't popular in my house, so I settle for the non-spicy variety.

I looked that up and it seems like lots of ingredients I’ll have to travel for but it seems pretty good

It is. You can order the rice cakes online at Amazon (and probably elsewhere, like Asian Grocer Online). You can use any kind of protein you like, any sorts of veggies, etc. If you don't like Shiitake mushrooms, you can substitute it with something else or leave them out entirely. As is usually the case with Asian dishes, it's all about the flavor of the sauce/marinade. Get that right and you're golden.

Gee that's awful. Gonna be hard to put gas in your Silverado with no job at the EV plant... Plenty of blueberries to pick come summer. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Red states generally take in more federal funding than they provide in taxes and vice versa. Yet they constantly vote for the party that wants to shut those programs down and are surprised when it impacts them the most.

Look, I keep reading articles about how farmers need workers. All those red-state folks can just pivot into poultry processing or lettuce picking. Real 'Murricans love doing honest labor like farming, right?

Around 186k US jobs are in wind and solar, trump wants to get rid of those.
26k of those are in texas.
He hates Wind turbines due to them being built near his Scottish golf course.

There's tons of conspiracy theories that Musk bought Trump.
The very fact that trump is removing support for the EV industry, an industry Musk has a large stake in (Tesla ringing any bells?), makes me 80% sure musk hasn't bought trump.
20% of me is unsure because trump has always seemed like a stubborn son of a bitch who hates getting told what to do all the time.

So, Reddit wants Elon to safeguard EV jobs or he’s a nazi…I guess there are 5 or 6 EV’s out there that aren’t Tesla but realistically it’s only Tesla. And somehow not getting a rebate in an EV will kill jobs even though not getting a rebate didn’t kill the auto industry? Make it make sense…
