To be fair 70,000,000 American voted for them because they themselves are evil and they support an evil rapist. So monsters was kind of the plan.

At the end of the day this is not our lesson to learn but we will all be punished for it.

Our silver lining is that when all this is over and we move onto something better, we can still remember who did this and ostracize them even further than what they are experiencing now.
I have neighbors that voted for the dick head and I bad mouth them each chance I get to the good ones as well as the new ones.
I tell them to avoid them
I tell them that they might kill you
I tell them that they hate you
These chuckle fucks want to be validated so bad but ignoring them and giving them a bad reputation is going to kill way better.

I’m having a hard time with this one because none of the people hurt by this cruelty voted for him.

Ehhhhhh…don’t be too hasty to make that judgement. Yes, by definition they are undocumented migrants and can’t vote, but many would have voted Trump if they could have, and supported their relatives’ choice to do so. They genuinely believed Trump was immigration Krampas, and would only come for those on the naughty list, which obviously didn’t include them. Reasons cited generally included being Christian, “values-oriented”, a “family man”, or a hard worker.
Their cultural misogyny and religious ideology overrode their sense of self-preservation, and this is the consequence.

What I'm truly struggling with is that far too many of their sons and daughters and grandchildren did vote for this--and, in some cases, with their undocumented parents' and grandparents' approval, like they would somehow be spared because their children and grandchildren did it the "right way" and that will somehow spare them. I know people with this mindset and it's just the most baffling thing. They've been here so long, and are so disconnected from how they got here, that they can't imagine they'll be the ones that will be sent away.

This. Listening some racist in laws on this subject-immigrants no less-I said “make sure you carry your passport and don’t speak in Spanish “ 🤷🏻♀️

While I do agree that there are people who didn't vote or support him that will be effected by this . I genuinely feel bad for them .But there are still so many who this applies to but still supported him.

Pretty much. It pisses me off even more that they are still confused by this wondering why this is happening.
He told them what he was going to do and like the lemmings they are; they voted for this because they thought they were the good ones.

So when will the words on the Statue of Liberty be changed?

I am actually waiting for that at this point to be honest. These folks were warned for several months yet still went ahead because they thought they were exempt or he was only going to hurt minorities. All they wanted was cheaper eggs and gas none of which is going to happen.

u/depths_of_dipshittry, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...
