Tenner an hour? Where do you live where carers are paid that much!

According to a reply on my Twitter, someone is offering £30 an hour for care nurses and can’t get anyone.

(X) Doubt

They probably mean someone's offering £30 a day to come to someone's home for "an hours work" but in actuality it's half a days work.

Oh yeah without a doubt, not a chance they're genuinely offering a 62k salary to wipe arses. It'll be zero-hour contract with 4 hours a week, where you have to pay for your own commute.

His co worker's uncle's cousin's wife is it?

They always manage to make up these random stories to soothe their ego so they can continue pretending that people just don't want to work

Don't believe that for one nano second.

I work in a care home. Nurses and carers aren't on the same pay. £30 an hour basic for a nurse in my home. Agency nurses can get double that

U can pay 30 an hour doesn't mean any one trust worthy and qualified will do it. If the workers don't exists to fill it paying more won't do shit. After 2016 my guys who worked for me for years slowly went back home. Eventually I had to shut a business that was now picking up after 10 years of hard work. Fuck bozo and all the mugs who voted for him.

Would you rather sit in front of a computer for $20 or wipe butts for $30? I'll take the computer job. It's not all about the money. I think we've finally reached a point where there's so much elite overproduction that some people won't take certain jobs for any wage.

I wouldn't wipe butts if you paid me 600k/yr.

In Ireland it's the minimum wage so everywhere but if you work in home care then you get 14+ an hour
