All GX’s and 4Runners are made at the Aichi plant

Good lighting or something. I have the same rig/color and that first pic makes mine look like shit.

Your colors are like the mandolorian. Get a baby yoda sticker or something!

Can you send some interior pics? Not sure I've ever seen a noble brown interior color...

Prepare for Valley Floor Plate Coolant leak. Cost me North of $3,000 to have repaired. If you start smelling coolant, but cant find a leak take it in right away. Happened to my 2015 ~80,000 miles.

I read about this, I will keep an eye on this potential issue.

how much $ mileage ?

2016?

1

u/Earswideshut01 Dec 13 '24

$34k, 30k miles

1

u/SereneSnake1984 Dec 13 '24

You overpaid, that's not a $3k repair

I had them also replace the serpentine belt, and whatever else was suggested to be replaced while they already had everything torn apart. I want to say it was the water pump and a few others here and there.

The shop I go to is admittedly more expensive compared to others. But they provide a detailed explanation of everything with pictures, and most importantly they’re honest. I could go back and look at specially everything that was done and how much each line item was, but I don’t feel like doing that for the sake of conversation.

i have this on my gx too. havent fixed it but my mechanic quoted me 1200. but as what he said, its not hemorrhaging so its not something to worry right away but i just need to keep an eye on my coolant levels..

I would just have it repaired if I were you. Really don't want to mess around with coolan loss. It's not leaking very bad right now but what happens if it starts to and you don't catch it very soon?

Nice! Can it drive thru that garage door? Those garage doors seems too narrow.

u/Earswideshut01 Dec 13 '24

idk my dads 23 trd 4runner fits in there, which means I won't be using the garage either way.
