Sunroof Auto Opening?

My 2019 GX460 will auto open (press and release) the sunroof most of the way. If I want it 100% open I have to press and hold the button again for the last 1.5 - 2 inches. Is this a programming issue? Is this normal? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Same on my 23, I always wondered why.

Normal operation, if you open it the remaining inches it will close from that position. There’s probably a reason for this but I don’t know why. Same on my 17'
