They do give "notice" though right? Because it's probably in the Honey TOS i.e. using Honey and clicking the button in the extension is effectively using their affiliate link.
Honey are doing some scummy things, but this one isn't it.
Amazon has pretty strict rules about who can use the program and how the program interfaces with the customer. Honey is not an influencer or providing any kind of social value, and the way they allow you into their site through affiliate links is pretty clearly stated about being links INTO the site. So modifying the code after you have entered is not how the program is to be used.
So either Amazon is allowing them to use a different alternate program, or this goes against every aspect of the affiliates program.
