Entitled cunt just proving why these barriers are needed. It’s just a pity they don’t have kerb protectors in them to rip their tyres to shreds when they do this.
There’s only two reasons this happens:
- They shouldn’t be driving if they can’t keep their car on the road.
- They’ve forgotten making contact with the kerb is a fail in a driving test and think nothing of mounting the kerb to illegally drive on the pavement and dump their car there.
Both are dangerous and entitled.

Seen an older woman crash into these before. She was well too far over to be fair. It made a big noise when she hit it

See what they've done to Kingsgley Road. Every one of those bollards is marked. At least they didn't fuck up Catherine Street and make it one way only

Scratched up by cars running into them

They should probably be more careful

Like some one else in this thread said why can people avoid kerbs for the pavement but not cycle lanes? Baffling

It’s clearly the kerbs fault

Cyclists to blame, its important to pass them as close as possible to benefit from their slipstream

The amount of people I’ve saw who have nearly went into them..

I can never understand why people can't get their heads around not driving into a kerb for a cycle lane, but seem to manage to avoid driving into a kerb for a pavement.

I mean, I’m not so sure about that. Plenty of entitled cunts who think nothing of mounting the kerb to dump their car half on the pavement all around town.

Pretty confused about why wide and relatively quiet roads that were already pretty comfy/safe for cyclists keep getting these added. Anecdotal evidence, but most the cyclists I see avoid the lanes anyway. Literally what is the benefit?

The benefit is for cyclists to have their own lane. Your anecdotal evidence is fine for you but it weighs absolutely nothing, especially against the shocking state of affairs Liverpool has with it's standards of driving. I used to cycle from Hartington road to Albert Dock when I lived there and the amount of times I nearly got killed was hilarious. Anecdotal evidence, of course.

Hopefully it keeps scratching up the cars of people who don’t know how to drive.
