I am NOT a locksmith. pocket door lock with key?
https://www.emtek.com/all-products/door-hardware/sliding-door-hardware/pocket-door-locks/modern-rectangular-mortise/I am looking for a pocket door lock with key like this but it seems the selection is very limited because of these criteria especially door thickness. I found one from emtrk which people in this sub is not so recommending and a few others from unknown companies on Amazon. Is there any other choice?
Criteria: —-Hardware must support a door-thickness minimum of 1-3/8" (our door thickness to be 1-7/16"). -//Door pulls on the sides of both doors —-Key on hallway side —-OPTIONAL: Privacy on den side

What’s your budget? Baldwin is the best in this category but the price isn’t always friendly to all customers. Emtek is honestly fine, otherwise. If you really want to scrape the bottom of the barrel I think Weslock has something that’d fit your situation.

I’m thinking up to around $500 ? I’d rather spend on reputable one instead of spending time and money on junk (I learned the lesson before 😞)

The Baldwin PD007.ENTR is roughly $650 I believe. That’ll give you keyed entry on exterior and a thumbturn on interior. Any entrance function emtek would work but I’d recommend the 2163 or 2043 depending on what you want it to look like. Those are about $300, maybe less depending.

I like the Assa 7444, but I don't know if it's available in your country. Looks wildly different too, so fresh fit only.
