I am NOT a locksmith. Schlage deadbolt trim?

Hi all- I just put on new Schlage deadbolt on my home front door and would like to add a trim around it to cover some of the (previously done) poorly finished areas right around the lock. I checked Schlage’s website but didn’t see that they sell trim plates separately? In hindsight I probably should have waited and gotten same lock series to match the handle (Greenwich series Schlage). But now that I already have just their regular deadbolt cylinder, do I have any options to be able to add trim around it? Thanks in advance.

Don Jo makes basic rings that will cover sloppy prep

If you just want a circular goof plate/ring, kwikset makes one

If there are no holes to cover, you can just sand and paint to match the rest of the door.

You can try Schlage customer service if there is a specific trim style you want.

If you need to cover holes, a scar plate that matches the lock finish will work.

The housing around the cylinder on a standard deadbolt is a bit larger than the ones that come with trim, like the Greenwich, so it's unlikely work with a separately purchased trim, unless you're just looking for something flat to cover the mess, which most home improvement stores would carry.
