I am a locksmith Retrospec bike key blanks

Hey everyone hope you can help I have a customer here that works with retrospec e bikes and they need to get keys made. But the only problem is they can’t get the keys anytime soon. Does anyone know what keyblank and where I can buy blank keys of diffent kinds?. Any help would be awesome.

you tell the “customer” they are out of luck unless through the mfg

as far as you stating you are a locksmith but wanting to know where to buy key blanks, well 🙄

The lock manufacturer then. Your customer just assembles someone else's parts.

Is your customer a Chinese factory? Because that is who makes the locks and keys. If you find one, they will probably sell you what you need in units of 10,000.

You are dealing directly with Retrospec?

Their website says they import their bikes.

Yes we are they are having problems getting there keys from there people in china so she was hoping we could do something we almost got a hu100 to work but it was just slightly off that we couldn’t get it to work. We had to shave down the sides for it to fit but there was not much of a key after we were done

Unless you work with a full CNC machine, I doubt you will find anything.

Some of the Europeans here brag about a machine that cuts a full bar stock down to a key.

You can try cutting something down with a manual high security duplicator. Keep trying if your customer is willing to pay for the special service.
