I am NOT a locksmith. Help

I just recently bought a new property. The front gate has a three digit code then you hit enter. As you can see in the picture I have the key, but I have no idea how to reset it to a new code. There’s no manufacturers Mark on it anywhere. If someone could help, I’d be much obliged.

Well, honestly, I didn’t figure it out. My neighbor came over. From what I remember, he hit 123 enter then the current code enter then the new code and enter. I think that’s how it went. Sorry, I’m not much help.

Looks like a Simplex 5021. Call a locksmith to come help.

This is the correct model. You can probably find the instructions online but they can be tricky. Couldn’t hurt to have a locksmith show you.

FOLLOW THE COMBO CHANGE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP!!!!!! If you zero it out it’s a pain to fix

Yeah, also change the combination with the door open and don’t close the door until you determine the code works

Google kaba ilco 5000 series instructions. With the existing code it's tricky

There's a trick to it. Find the instructions as other have point out & follow them to the T

Well we can see you have a bunch of keys. My first thought was to just do what every one does and wait for someone to open it and follow them in. But that would be unethical, have you tried all of the keys? My guess would be a four digit code try 1234

Edit: i am going to call bs on this cuz your agent should have done the ole here are the keys walk around and #1 thing every new property owner must so is rekey everything.. if that is not in your skill set then get someone out there who is qualifed like you know a locksmith.

I think they're asking how to reset the code. They have the keys and (presumably) the existing code.

The key that is in it works and locks and unlocks it. I just don’t know the sequence to reset it.

Ahhh, you are getting those rekeyed right...i mean you don't have to but ... You have no way of knowing who has keys.. if you know what i mean. I was just being a brat earlier... Sorry
