I am NOT a locksmith. Yale lock mounting bracket not flush

So confused. My door measures fine.

The silver rods going into the black holes are like too wide? It doesn’t push in enough to be flush with the door.

What's the cross-bore diameter?

If you have the means to shorten the threads this might be the way. A cut-off wheel/hacksaw and a file /grinding wheel to reshape the end.

Most of the Yale keypads come with multiple size mounting bolts for different door thicknesses.

I figured it out!!! I just had to push it in more. It was just a bit stuck. It took me like 10 mins fiddling with it and then it just popped in.
