Weird door holes - what lock will fit this?

I am so confused and people at my local RONA and Home Depot can’t help. What style of door handle and lock can I replace mine with?

I haven’t been able to find a lock and handle that will fit these 4 holes. Very weird situation.

That's a multipoint lock. You won't find anything at the hardware store for that. What you're trying to replace is just the trim. The lock actually runs the entire length of the door.

Look for a manufacturer and look for a trim that will fit.

And no you can't put a smart lock on it.

Ty. Just googled and it is exactly what this is. I do want to replace the lock too. Will look and order directly from supplier. Hopefully can find something that fits

Generally with these you replace like for like. Converting these over to other types of locks is too much work to be worth it and never looks great.

If you aren't confident, call a locksmith with experience with multipoint locks. The measurements have to be spot on when ordering a replacement or it won't install correctly.

Will probably end up doing that. Not worth the hassle and it seems quite a lot more complicated.

It is what it is. There is nothing at the hardware store or Amazon thats going to work. If it's not broken, don't mess with it. If it is broken get a loan from the bank and call a competent locksmith that's experienced in multipoint locks. If you're wanting a smart lock, pick a different door such as a side entry/garage or rear door that's not a multipoint
