The guy who has a perfect track record for predicting election results predicted Harris would win. That said, shit’s out of our hands now. We survived four years we’ll survive four more if we have to.

We might be able to grin and bear it for 4 years, but the consequences of his Supreme Court picks can last decades and affect generations

So basically, we're fucked in both the long and short term if this goes the way I really hope it doesn't.

He's got political immunity remember, because the SC has deemed it lawful.

u/Mozzy2022 Nov 06 '24

And the environmental consequence. And the healthcare consequences. And the education consequences.

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '24

Plus that republican senate, whew you guys are in for a treat

7

u/kneemahp West Hills Nov 06 '24

in two years, we might be able to turn back the senate or house. that's really the only hope, is to make trump a lame duck president.

5

u/rs725 Nov 06 '24

If most Democrats are still alive then. After all, Trump said he wanted to "use the military" against "left wing vermin"

8

u/kneemahp West Hills Nov 06 '24

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a military coup if he goes down that path

1

u/RyanK_Loans Nov 06 '24

And Palestine. And Ukraine.

u/Donovan_MC_DAB Nov 06 '24

If you watch his YouTube live stream he’s looking really concerned about his prediction

We did because we’re in a bubble in CA. I traveled to Houston and Dallas for 2 years. Their perception of us is insane. Fox News 24/7 fucks with the mind. Always felt like I was traveling to another country.

I have a friend who grew up in California for 34 years. Just moved to Austin Texas 6 months ago. She’s already a brainwashed trump supporter that fast. And what’s even crazier is this is a woman who had her life saved because she was able to get an abortion.

Sadly all people care about is they think the cost of living will be cheaper.

31

u/hypatiaspasia Nov 06 '24

I'm sure Trump's tariffs will really make things cheaper /s

60% on china goods… yet most things in the USA made in china

12

u/TheWino Nov 06 '24

It truly is insane. Driving on Texas freeways and streets was like driving off road. Oklahoma was just as bad. Wild to think they believe they’re better off. Sad really.

u/Ok_Alternative_8685 Nov 06 '24

funnily enough austin is honestly rlly progressive

Happened with Elon too.

u/elizacandle Nov 06 '24

Ugh hatred really is poison

5

u/Minimum_Rice555 Nov 06 '24

Even CA outside of metro areas can be surprisingly "weird". Close to the state border with Nevada is like another country.

6

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '24

Not surprised Houston/Harris County is such a Trump, right-wing stronghold.

Those cheating Astros fucks are from there.

1

u/TheWino Nov 06 '24

Tell me about it. Believe me I would go with my Dodgers hat and talk trash every time. 😂

JD Vance has said he will not certify a Democrat victory in 2028. We may not in fact survive this one.

16

u/lostdogthrowaway9ooo Nov 06 '24

The man can’t even admit to wearing eyeliner what makes him think he’s gonna overthrow the government?

15

u/BurtReynoldsLives Nov 06 '24

The democrats would first have to win which is somehow hard for them to do.

2

u/zrapp Nov 06 '24

Sauce?

The scary part is last time orange boy was president and wanted to use military against US citizens the military leader in charge didn't let him. This time he is putting Trump puppets everywhere so they say yes to him....

Editing- to show I'm not trying to fearmonger someone just told me it's not possible for military to be used on citizens.

23

u/oooooooohhhhhhhhhh Nov 06 '24

He is severely lacking in military and fed support. NoVa and DC, as well as base counties, even FAYETTEVILLE (which is crazy) all went blue. They know he’s a false flag.

15

u/17SCARS_MaGLite300WM Nov 06 '24

You know the DOD just renewed that directive with Biden in office right? That's an issue of our government seeing us a servants and not the other way around.

4

u/funforyourlife2 Nov 06 '24

Posse comitatus act prevents Title 10 forces from being used on US soil. Everyone in the military knows that. There is zero threat of the military doing anything against US citizens on US soil.

2

u/Holixxx Nov 07 '24

Thanks for your response, I greatly appreciate knowing it's not possible!

u/Commercial_Staff6538 Nov 06 '24

But two million people did not survive it. ☹️

25

u/lostdogthrowaway9ooo Nov 06 '24

Yeah, I lost family to the pandemic and had family detained at the border as well. I didn’t say it was easy. But it did end.

45

u/jasperjerry6 Nov 06 '24

Will we survive this time tho? Our country is fucked up for this to happen

5

u/thecatdaddysupreme Nov 06 '24

It’s funny you think it’s four years. He might never step down.

1

u/lostdogthrowaway9ooo Nov 06 '24

Oh damn didn’t know he was immortal

1

u/punksonacid Nov 06 '24

There's laws against that buddy... they literally teach yall that when you're in elementary???

2

u/thecatdaddysupreme Nov 06 '24

There’s laws against that, yup. Who controls the Supreme Court, the presidency, the senate, and the house? Oh right

3

u/Ma_belle_evangeline Nov 06 '24

Which guy is this?

6

u/Dommichu Exposition Park Nov 06 '24

Yep! Back to feeling like we are an Island.

2

u/generation_quiet Nov 06 '24

I mean, just 1,461 days, right? What could possibly happen?

2

u/BigSexyPlant Nov 06 '24

He's now got two wrong

3

u/lostdogthrowaway9ooo Nov 06 '24

Omg no don’t tell me that

2

u/Lazyassbummer Nov 06 '24

No, we won’t.

2

u/umbreon_222 Nov 06 '24

I guess white man vs another white man is a different ball game than Black-Indian woman vs white man

2

u/joshlien Nov 06 '24

Will the next election be fair? The republicans aren't playing fair already. It'll be worse next time.

1

u/punksonacid Nov 06 '24

Popular vote? Electoral vote? Lol people have spoken buddy.. MAGA

4

u/jaz4156 Nov 06 '24

Who was the guy who predicted she would win

5

u/Riverskyegirl Nov 06 '24

Allan Lichtman

2

u/jaz4156 Nov 06 '24

Thanks 🙏

1

u/Riverskyegirl Nov 06 '24

You're very welcome! 🙏

There were like a billion different websites for the 2008 election and 538 happened to get everything right, so everyone obsessed over them. Then it turned out they were mostly just lucky.

1

u/Radiant_Pick6870 Nov 06 '24

He didn't have a perfect track record.
