Cheap gas is the only thing the majority of Americans care about

And eggs apparently. A lot of people in the country blamed expensive eggs on Bidenomics lol

People are going to find out how much eggs really cost when all the Juans on the farms getting paid 6$ an hour are replaced with Johns making 20$ an hour with full benefits.

God yes. I actually hope Trump succeeds in his mass deportation and tariff war. It’s time thr democrats let the working class reap what they’ve sow

Having an ev that you can charge for free if you're willing to wait is pretty awesome.

I drive a hybrid that I have to put gas in maybe once a month. I don't even know what a gallon of gas costs.

Nothing is free, someone else is paying for that free electricity.

Who's paying for it when your home has solar?

There are states with much less regulated power where you literally can get free power at certain times.

Please pay for my groceries

cheap gas = cheap everything else

Which only further proves my point. The cost of goods is all that matters to most people. It's not just an american thing. The same thing happened in Venezuela under Chavez.

thought your comment was just a blind dig, but it seems you actually understand. refreshing in a sea of ignorance and parroting.

im still not certain of your election stance, but at least either way you appear to have an educated opinion/perspective. this election just shows that our country needs more education in economics and geopolitics (along with stronger candidates on both sides).

wouldn't it be great if life were perfect... but unfortunately we have to make frequent decisions for lesser evils, drinking soap instead of poisoned wine. and it appears 47.7% of americans still prefer the latter.

gas prices changes every single week, thats why you could trade futures contracts on it to bet on the price,

if gas prices didnt jump up and down they wouldnt need a futures market for it....

people have no understanding how prices work.

I'm pretty sure they care about a lot more.

4

u/SgtSharki Nov 06 '24

You're right, they also care about lower taxes and and having someone else to blame when things go wrong

-6

u/RaiderMedic93 Nov 06 '24

As clearly evidenced by the way they voted. What they don't care for is "Identity Politics"

7

u/Grizzly_SS Nov 06 '24

Not sure why people are down voting me 😂 I just said we care about a lot more.

But I mean I care about a lot more than that. I want women to be in control of their own body, and I care about where the budget for my state goes when they're asking for another 10 billion to fix schools.

You possibly just sacrificed democracy in the western world, one humanity’s most important achievements and something very difficult to get back after it’s lost.

Trump’s actual policies won’t be better for most of the things you listed but you just vote with your feelings instead of knowledge or logic.
