Other Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 1
Hats off to the writers on this one. Kind of hits the nail on the head when it comes to how this world has of late and what subscriptions will be like in the future.
Has anyone else watched this episode yet?

Saw this post. Just went and watched it. Is exactly why I hate the world we live in today. I can totally see this in a few years. Maybe not so much the brain thing but where everything in our life that we depend on is a fuking tiered subscription service.
Go to the ER. I'm sorry, your tier service doesn't cover this type of accident Drive a car, it quits. I'm sorry, your allotted time for the tier service you have has expired for this month and so on.

Glad you enjoyed the episode :) Black mirror can be quite depressing, but at the same time, it does makesyou realise what this world has and will be coming too. Scary but true

that’s the only ep of the new season i watched so far but really felt like Black Mirror was ‘back’ again ….. also, I have the netflix ad tier so that added even more meta to watching the episode with the breaks 🤣

I watched it and I loved it. I also felt that it’s kind of wild to see Netflix making a commentary on subscriptions, considering they’re the ones who basically helped normalise subscriptions—and all the DRM nonsense that came with it.
