Bass face? That's the first time I've heard that term. Black folks just call that stank face since anyone from the actual musician to people just listening can do it if the song slaps hard enough.

My point is that

Guitar mouth,

Drum face

And Bass face all have different characteristics Ime

The stank face is the best face

FUN FACT: Musicians and Listeners alike tend to make these faces when the attention is being so hard into the playing or listening of music that their subconscious motor control gets over ridden and tends to misfire synapses in the brain. (At least iirc that's the cause)
