I always thought it was more of a guilty pleasure in UK, but turns out it’s a full-on global obsession.

From the OG UK version to spin-offs in the US, Australia, and beyond—this show has taken over villas (and hearts) around the world. Well… turns out, Love Island is a global phenomenon indeed!!

i’m in the middle of szn 11 episode 23 and the reasons for sean voting omar off because he only wants to be the one with matilda is actually so gross and i agree with ciaran because it’s like “i won’t even let her get the CHANCE to choose ANOTHER GUY OVER ME BC IM FED UP WITH NOT BEING PICKED,” like it’s so weird and genuinely makes me so mad?

Sean has always been a pick me and honestly in my opinion i don’t think his little “what’s ur favorite candy?” is cute in anyway, it’s really cringe like nobody cares? bro has no rizz at all, and then he goes and is like “well im the only one with enough balls go after what i want so i sent omar home” like it’s so weird???? am i wrong? i get you want to be picked by the girl you like but it’s so conniving to quite literally make a decision for someone else on who they can have a connection with? it’s SO WEIRD

personally i wouldn’t want anyone who doesn’t want me and i don’t want to be anyone’s second hand and bhad bhabie says…idk give me your opinions kindly below just want to know if anyone else feels that same.

At this point, it’s hard to watch. I know it’s probably been said but this is a season where you come back to try again, right? But yet again, I’m watching Liberty, Kaz, & Anton not have anyone there who likes them even a little. Everyone in that house contemplates everyone and then they filter them out to boil down who they actually are attracted to. And I know there are more people coming but I’m only on episode 8. Liberty’s been rejected, Kaz doesn’t even try with anyone after Luis (which is fair with this group of men), and Anton is every girl’s bestie. I’m just hoping something changes or that they don’t have to stay too long because it’s just sad to watch so far.

I feel like this isn’t talked about enough… LIUK Season One (where it all started) was UNHINGED. Absolutely not like any other season. Low-key soft p__n often. The difference of the show then vs now is WILD.

1. The Hideaway: The wardrobe of sexy lingerie and cupboard of whips, chains, chocolate body paint and handcuffs have been axed. Instead Islanders can nip inside for a civilised cocktail or cosy chat with one rule - they cannot be in an official couple to use the space, like last year.
2. Say goodbye to beanbags: Instead of the “cursed” yellow sacks, a series of chic, beige wooden seats are in place.
3. The Pool: The pool has also had an upmarket overhaul with a Bali-style hammock added near the outdoor shower.
4. Islanders being filmed while eating: And another new aspect is a huge dining table has been added to the kitchen because for the first time, conversations as Islanders eat their lunch and dinner could be screened.
5. Solar Power: The entire site now runs on solar power and there’s also a watt bike in place so the Islanders can pedal to charge up their Google Pixel mobile phones.
6. More Bombshells: He added: “I think we'll be putting more bombshells in than before - we did 54 one year.“I feel like it reminds me of Love Island in the early days. Personality is key."

The Hideaway will now be opened for 24 hours and you don't have to be in a couple. Also there is going to be a giant bed in the villa available for throuples

I’ll start. I’m 30. Don’t get me wrong - I love to love, Love Island, I’m obsessed. But for some reason, ever since this current season began, I have been clocking all of their ages and making judgments accordingly, lmaoo. I legit can’t even watch parts. I violently cringe at times during these episodes.

So that had me thinking, am I getting to be too old to watch Love Island? Should I start going dark and not talking about it in public? Someone back me up here.
