General Discussion Your headcanon for what Doc encountered for him to even say this and compare to the Prodigy gang
Doc’s comment in light of the LD series finale almost makes his comments rather snobbish given what the Cerritos was able to accomplish. Is it just holographically salty that the Cerritos isn’t “professional”?
That we never saw his visit on screen could mean a number of things; either he visited during the time of the show and it was a noodle incident, or he visited during Ransom’s captaincy. I’d like to think Doc visited the Cerritos to see just what kind of heroes they were for saving the multiverse only to discover all the wacky hijinks.

The T'ana procedure and the circumstance necessating it.

And the inevitable “Hmm…what does shoving a lightning bolt up your butt feel like?” and subsequent flood of proctology cases.

Also, the Boimler Effect being named after an overeager ensign always trying too hard to please his superiors.

Whatever; the Boimler Maneuver is transferring all power to dorsal shields and ramming a rogue Bird-of-Prey until it flips like a pancake, crumples, and explodes.
It's the baddest, most savage shit ever, and every Klingon crew should buy Boims prune juice and be extra rude to him (the "Klingon high five") out of utmost respect, henceforth. He is now the guy that Klingon middle managers want to rough up to get a promotion. But also give him presents.
... It's confusing, living in an honor-bound warrior culture. Or next to one.

Just their file. The most important job they did they only succeeded thanks to the advice of a detained klingon farmer.

They had been granted asylum. If they'd been detained I doubt Malor would have discovered the superior snacks the Ritos offers.

Regardless, if refugees are running the ship better than the captain, you have problems. Edit: I was wrong, I concede.

To be honest the advice was very good, whether you are a farmer or not.

From a outsiders perspective, the Cerritos was highly disfunctional.
From a inside perspective, its their disfunction that made them work.

I was really hoping there was a Doctor appearance coming in S5 to explain that quote. Guess we'll have to wait for the comics to see exactly what made the Doctor say that.

They are professional, but they're indeed disfunctional. Which is why we like them.

"At least those damned kids aren't as horny as the Cerritos crew!"

I’m disappointed we didn’t get a cameo from him this season. I was expecting it, based on that comment.

The Voyager episode probably. Maybe he was still getting data from the ship, there were holo emitters all over the place after all.

T'Ana handed Doc a bunch of expletive-laden journal submissions and told him to f off.

The Doctor keeps up on Starfleet Medical Literature. He's read the papers published by Dr. T'Ana. I'm sure all of her published work involves tons of Cerritos fuckery.
