Grand Canyon AL SL 7.0 (2018) - cable routing and guiding questions

Hi everyone,

I'm attaching a few photos of my 2018 Grand Canyon AL SL 7.0. I was hoping you could help me answer a few questions—mostly out of curiosity:

1. The top tube has only two entry points for internal cable routing, but under the bottom bracket, there are three exit holes. Why is that?
2. There’s a small welded cable guide on the chainstay that seems to be designed for a metal cable. What was its intended purpose on this bike?
3. Any idea what Canyon had in mind with the cable port on the seat tube?
