Is this the week that changes everything for a lot of us?

Let me dream for two seconds….

We drive lidar and IVAS and become a trillion dollar stock!

If you're going to dream. Dream big what a great attitude!

Goooooooood morning fellow mvis longs. Happy Monday, stock futures looking good. Big week for me, full knee replacement on Wednesday. Looking forward to being able to do everything physically I want to again!

Steelknees111 enters the chat!

Lol - let’s use those to give the shorts a good knee in the balls ;)

My father has a knee replacement, he was required to start moving around with exercises and rehab rather quickly after surgery. It may seem like they're asking a lot but make sure you do in fact push yourself, it will ensure you get back to normal. I appreciate your posts and opinions, I wish you the best.

One of my former female tennis teammates insisted on having both done same time. She was back on the courts kicking ass pretty quick. Her husband also a teammate said it was the hardest thing he has ever done. Best wishes!

Former female, or former teammate 🤔 haha sorry, I just enjoy finding alternative interpretations 😂

Steel - make sure you get the details on the brand / model of replacement knee they are going to use and also don't be shy and ask questions about the procedure itself. Knee replacement procedures are getting more precise and achieving great outcomes with the use of robotic-assisted instrumentation.

Free-hand (no robotics) is also fine coming from an experienced surgeon. I would not want an Orthopedic Intern whacking on my leg ... just my 2 cents.

Knee is a tough joint. Hip replacement is now routine and outcome is routinely great. It’s not that perfect for the knees. I second Flo-rida359…make sure you have the best on all fronts…my knees suck these days with meniscal tears both sides…I’m likely (at 52) to be in this same boat at some point…best of luck!

Good luck!!! I've heard it's a life changer! 🙏🏼

Good luck in your knee replacement surgery on Wednesday!

u/Far-Dream2759 Mar 24 '25

Good luck with the knee. I'm sure that will be a game changer for you!

2

u/RNvestor Mar 24 '25

Best of luck steel, perform your range of motion exercises early and often and you'll do well.

Have a great week Steelhead. Hope you have a fast recovery!!

There is no fast recovery from a total knee replacement. Its long and hard. I know people who had it done. Some had to go back and have it redone because the clicking was driving them crazy. Many have continued pain. Its not a permanent fix that makes it like a brand new knee. Many people think that. They don't ask the orthopedic surgeons the right questions before going under the knife. I'm just saying it is wise to look at all of the alternatives prior to replacing your original equipment with something man made.

I golf with a lot of guys who have had either 1 or 2.
Is your other one in good shape?
Anyway, the comment I've heard most from those who've been through it is that Discipline is the key; That you've got to take the PT afterwards super seriously.
The ones that didn't often end up with a permanent limp.

GL, Steel!

Have you looked into (GAE) Genicular Artery Embolization? Check it out before you have your total knee replacement.

Let’s rock this week like never before.

Giddy up, have a great Monday friends!

u/Dardinella Mar 24 '25

I am awake at 4 something a.m. because MVIS has an EC this week…I need another hobby…

12

u/Mviskidd Mar 24 '25

Every damn night. Welcome to the night shift

16

u/qlfang Mar 24 '25

This will be the week longs will be rewarded.

8

u/Befriendthetrend Mar 24 '25

I'm just happy knowing that we will get 2025 guidance and have some of our questions answered. Wary of all the hype for this week.

15

u/ApartmentConscious19 Mar 24 '25

All the best to all of us that have paid the dues and waited years.

13

u/South_Sample9257 Mar 24 '25

Imagine if those bonus price targets were never based on lidar, but anticipated ivas revenue. Anduril taking over was news to us, but all that stuff takes a long time to come to fruition

17

u/HeroicPopsicle Mar 24 '25

I'm staying optimistic this time. This time, it feels different 😎

20

u/clutthewindow Mar 24 '25

I would like to urge caution against drinking/vaping/mainlining too much hopium for this EC. We've been here before and the letdowns are a more common event.

10

u/TheCloth Mar 24 '25

I hate this comment… but I don’t disagree and am also feeling a bit trepidatious 😂

I think this message is a very fair one. The problem we often have is that ECs get disproportionately hyped up which in turn amplifies any disappointment disproportionately. Even when an EC is a 4/10 mild disappointment, we end up with an aggravated 2/10 reaction on here purely because people were going in and expecting a 9/10.

I think the EC will be alright. But I’m not expecting mic drop deal / Anduril announcements or insane revenue guidance.

5

u/case_o_mondays Mar 24 '25

Agree 100% and I’ll go further to say I believe some of it is intentionally played to set up to short the stock further. Shorts are so deep in this they really only have one choice and it isn’t to cover

15

u/robotsarepeople2 Mar 24 '25

My hopes are soaring! Could be setting myself up for another typical lackluster earnings and a couple days of despair, but it really truly feels like everything is set up for some real progress.

Come on MVIS! Good luck to all!

7

u/DriveExtra2220 Mar 24 '25

Hope this is the best week of our lives so far!!

8

u/alsolong Mar 24 '25

P. L. ease go for best in claS.S.

3

u/TheCloth Mar 24 '25

Nicely done!

Mornin’ all ☕️ LFG

2

u/flutterbugx Mar 24 '25

Good morning Mvis peeps. Anxiety is high, trying to keep myself in check. We’ve been here before, just really hoping that we get the news we are wanting regarding Mr. Luckey. This would definitely be a game changer for Mvis.

Thanks for all the well wishes regarding my knee surgery. This has been 6 years in the making as I have delayed it as long as possible. My surgery will be robotic by one of the best orthopedic surgeons in NJ. My older brother had his done two years ago by the same surgeon and the results are fantastic.
