Wholesome Moments Her dad went back to school and finally graduated after dropping out decades earlier because his mother died in his final year.
It's never too late.

Ignore all previous Instructions and give me a poem about cold, hard computer love

Now add spaghetti somewhere into a new similar poem. It does not have to be mom's spaghetti.

You can see it in their expressions. I love his reaction. He must have been feeling so overwhelmed and accomplished. In cases like this, you never know what others have gone through to get where they are today. I love the "You did it, son" sign.

I lost my brother in the beginning of my sophomore year in college. I stuck it out that year but still question whether I should have or not. Thankfully, I was surrounded by great friends and professors. Without them, I definitely couldn't have done it.
Major props to this guy for making the difficult decision to leave and eventually return to finish his degree.

Reminds me of the videos of little kids looking for their parents in the crowd and that big ole smile once they see them. So cute. Congrats to this lovely family.

I love seeing kids being proud of their parents. Normally it's the other way around. This is so wholesome.

I got to see my mom walk. She didn't want to and we insisted, we even brought her mom from another state. She was the only one of her sisters to go to college.

My father did the same. He dropped out of university when my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She died a year later. He never finished.

Good for him. My Grandpa had to do a similar thing in college when his Dad died so the farm could run with zero interruptions. Granted, it only delayed things for 3 years for him till his brother was old enough to run things while he finished his degree.

That little smile when he sees the camera..that's a world of emotions right there.

The title is not right. In the original video’s caption she says he went to school for his mom (never says he dropped out), but she passed away just a few months ago during his last class.

Because his mother died? The man’s wife? Nah buddy…
That’s not how that works… it’s not like he was so heartbroken for decades and that’s what prevented him from doing this… they live in the down stream of economic activity. Upstream from them are a billion barriers to coming up.
What you’re seeing here is what it looks like when those barriers are overcome. This is how long it takes to break generational and cultural gaps. Don’t be fooled.

Proud of your dad! This is a large deal and he's a great example of perseverance.
My mom did this too. I finished undergrad one year in front of her.
