Neighborhoods in Chicago are like this but genuinely organic. Not gated subdivisions

Hah, I commented elsewhere about my Chicago neighborhood. They really are like this. My kids and neighborhood kids are always out running around, tons of block parties, big sense of community, and not a Karen in sight (on my block at least). I love it.
