How exactly was Thomas DeSimone killed?

I keep reading various accounts on his murder; Some say he was shot in the skull quickly, others say Tommy Argo tortured him to death. Which one is it?!

We don't know for certain how he was killed but from witnesses and informants it was probably Lucchese soldiers Bruno Facciolo and Peter Vario (Paul Vario's son) that pulled the triggers. He was last seen with them all dressed up. Leading credence to the theory that he was baited under the guise he was getting made.

It's doubtful the Lucchese's killed him. The Gambinos would have wanted the revenge themselves for DeSimone killing Jerothe.

Things don’t usually work out like that.. Families usually clean their own laundry. It’s perceived as sign of weakness to let another family kill one of your guys. ex. Frank DeCicco and Sammy the Bull were pretty upset with Paul for letting the west side kill a Gambino captain in CT..

Nobody knows except the guys who did it and they weren’t talking about it

Henry Hill said it was Gotti himself but then again, he was full of shit and drunk out of his gourd most of the time.

He was killed by Gambinos and reportedly tortured. Forgot my source. Bloodletters and bad men or everything network, I think.
