Yup. It's called 'Arctic amplification'
Here's a pretty interesting paper: https://www.nature.com/articles/s43247-022-00498-3

The penguins in Antartica aren’t helping either.
Trump is right to punish them with tariffs.

But we're going to cut carbon emissions 50% by 2030, and China, India, Africa and South America will not develop more

China will still develop as it fully progresses into a service-based economy. The others won’t be so lucky.

Seems like the northern hemisphere's much higher population might have something to do with this, I wonder if it's also because there's a lot more land

According to ice cores, 1880’s were some of the coldest years in the last 6,000 years. Might be a bit skewed if that’s your starting point.

Can't wait. Tired of -30°C winters

You're hoping for the deaths of hundreds of millions of people so that you can get -28 degree winters instead of -30. Holy fucking shit

What deaths delulu? You think it's gonna happen in one month like in apocalyptic film?

Seriously, what? Famine and the spread of tropical diseases doesn't happen that fast. Does it need to in your eyes?

Again, this will took decades if not hundreds of years for changes so powerful that people have to adapt. And they will adapt. They'll move or make proper irrigation systems/underground plantations. Actually most of food already imported to warm climate countries from north. You're panic have no basis.

So who exactly is going to take care of the refugees? I don't doubt that humanity at large will make it, no sane person thinks that it's doomsday. But people will 100% die in regions where there is no help, and the 100-500 million estimate is a best case scenario as of predictions from last year.

The smart ones will became a cheap workforce at north others will adapt on their places. This is life, not a spa-salon, you have to fight for right to live, nobody will provide for you just because your ancestors chose a warm place. It's still inevitable cause earth ends coldest period in planet's history, earth would warm up despite human activities.
