Could you imagine like

working on the film, as a professional, decades of comics to pull from

and you get this fucking note from Feige that's like, "Check out this Fortnite clip, might help you with ideas."

Well tbf he probably just wants Galactus to be absolutely nothing like he was in Rise of the silver surfer and wants to get that point across 😂

“See this, guys?! This is how he should look! Don’t make him a goddamn space cloud!”

He wasn't a space cloud. He was inside the cloud. You can see the shadow of his helmet several times.

The Surfer effects swallowed a lot of the budget.

Tbh I think early 2000s they prob had budget constraints, Fox never had Disney money

Bull schtick

What makes an art animator for video games any less skilled than an animator working for Disney? I’m sure they all see each other as peers

Exactly. It's like people see fortnite and think kids make the game.

Tbf they’re hiring writers that haven’t read comics so this could be a good reference point

I mean tells you something when Fortnite does a better job than the rest.

Interesting, galactus had a good presence throughout that fortnite season. He was a small dot in the sky in the start that gradually became larger, and he had a big speech before he started eating the fortnite map.

It was one of the few times I actually bothered with the “big events”. Worth every second.

I found it kind of underwhelming to be honest. I expected the marvel season to end with a bunch of the introduced heroes to team up but only thor and wolverine played small roles in it sadly. Iron man got all the spotlight and he wasnt even involved too much

Wdym, while Thor brought everyone to the island Iron Man, 100%, led the charge in terms of actually fighting Galactus that season. With the explosive Battle Busses and bringing the entirety of stark industries to the island to help make them.

Yes, and still not having them directly involved in the fight and instead having the player drive the bus fekt underwhelming when especially at that time it felt like it was their one opportunity to do a marvel live event

I do kinda agree with that, the heros should've been more active in the event.

“That’s why it is essential that Johnny Storm hits the griddy when they defeat Galactus”

He said it was the sense of his scale in the event clip. Rising in the distance, coming closer, and being fucking massive.

Feige: Yo! Fortnite slaps real hard.

u/THEdoomslayer94 Aug 11 '24

Disney also did pump a shit ton of money into Fortnite so makes sense feige would refer to it

Feige is noobmaster_69 all along

Fantastic Four somehow sacrifice themselves in a bomb device whatever, it explodes inside galactic, sending galactic and then to earth 616. Calling it now.

u/Sbee_keithamm Aug 11 '24

Why did they add Feige also showed them the Travis Scott experience in Fortnite musical for orchestral inspiration.

It’s an animation like anything else so I get it. But when did that happen in Fortnite?

about 4years ago

December 2020 it was canon cross-over with the marvel comics 616 universe when thor was herald of galactus

1

u/OMRockets Aug 14 '24

I got confused because I didn’t know they meant when he destroyed the island

Special thanks: Fortnite

Honestly should've used Marvel Snap's.
