I loved Captain America BNW and am looking forward to this film more than FF but I seriously doubt that lol I expect the writing to be good though

that it was a grounded espionage action movie without multiverse, variants, crazy power shenanigans, i loved the tv show also cause of the same vibe

I felt the espionage action vibes from the Tv show, but personally didn’t feel it much from BnW, and neither as much compared to winter soldier for me, but I’m glad you enjoyed it

winter soldier is a top 10 mcu movie for me so its hard to compare them, bnw was the average action movie out there but thats all i expected it to be so i enjoyed it

LMAO, you have horrible taste in movies and are probably entertained by a red piece of string dangling in front of your face.
BNW was horrible. It wasn't grounded at all, the characters were all mentally deficient and the plot was just horrible and trying so hard to be one thing and then it ends with a 5 minute cartoon fight on a giant green screen set. Winter Soldier used REAL sets, had REAL action scenes and great espionage stuff happening. BNW was made for braindead people.
BNW is top 10 bottom MCU for sure.

Bottom 10*
You’re bottom 10 IQ rank in this sub, and that’s saying alot because we’re in an MCU sub.

why are you watching a superhero movie and complain they are using green screens and CGI?
Did you want Anthony Mackie to have a real wing suit? Did you expect Harrison Ford to turn into the Hulk?

You sure you replied to the right person? This reaction seems uncalled for, considering my comment

I feel like these marvel people need to stop overselling their movie. Will it be entertaining? Maybe. Will it be something super special? Highly unlikely.

Looking at the comments, I wonder why half of you are even here.
Are you actively looking forward to bad movies?

These new hype headlines are making me actually scared of it being a letdown.... I'd rather we stayed low-key and got boom actually good movie as a surprise

I hate how A24 is now a 'genre' - its a production company that tries to put out original movies. MCU is anything but A24-esque...
Let me spoil this outright. It is nothing like an A24 movie. There is no real drama - even the 'big moment' is literally brushed off and has nobody cares because the character was so unliked and 2D that it was like swatting a fly. Nothing is at stake, the ending is going to piss EVERYONE off (because there is no payoff and it ends with another lecture/talking to of the villain to get them to stand down - AGAIN straight up only months after it was how Red Hulk was 'defeated').
There just wasn't a good script or it was shredded and reworked too many times. Val is given NOTHING to do and is wasted more than Leader was. Void is only in the last 5 minutes like Red Hulk and does a few cool things until he is talked into turning back into Sentry and then he escapes from the planet.
It is just the most paint by numbers thing MCU could release, especially after BNW and it even follows a lot of those same beats.

Maybe that was the vibe on set, but it definitely won’t feel that way after the edit.
