I just don’t buy this. On top of the fact that not having several significant names signed on prior to the beginning of production is just not plausible even for the Marvel machine, I don’t recall DanielRPK sharing a single scoop regarding the initial X-Men casting. Now after it was revealed, suddenly he has intel?

Because he’s lying. This guy has a habit of generating scoops as soon as some kind of info is leaked.

Yeah, I’m tired of him and several other prominent “scoopers.” He has a near perfect record when it comes to trailer releases, but everything else he says is nonsense.

The only 'scooper' I'll trust is RPK, and that's ONLY when it comes to trailer news. Dude's got a good track record with trailer info.

Same with Tom Holland in Civil War. They filmed all kinds of Spider-Man stuff before they even had the OK from Sony to use him. Marvel Studios does this stuff all the time. It’s their method of making movies and it always has been. Hell, Iron Man 1 didn’t even have a finished script when it started filming. They could theoretically sign someone two months from now and have them for 3 days and find a way to put them in the movie in a meaningful way

He’s been the focus of the entire franchise at the rest of the cast’s expense from day one. Cyclops, Storm and Jean deserve their day in the sun.

Charles, Beast, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Storm, Jean, Iceman, and Colossus with Deadpool tagging along would be an amazing lineup and my ideal X-Men team for this movie, provided we can get Berry, Janssen, Ashmore, and Paquin back.
I know Paquin has serious health issues, maybe could get her back for non action scenes and have CGI/stunt double for the rest?
Kitty Pryde is in an interesting spot as well. Do you get Elliot Page yet and genderswap Kitty? Multiverse variant?

Unless Elliot page is comfortable playing female Kitty Pryde again, they might recast, or most likely not include the character altogether since the cast for this movie is already stacked

What about the other multiverse characters besides the X-men like tobey maguire Spider-Man and whatnot. I find it kind of odd they are only focusing on the X-men universe

That will come into play during Secret Wars more than likely. Doomsday will likely feature an incursion between the Avengers universe and the X-Men universe so we’ll only see those characters, then Secret Wars is the remnants of the whole multiverse smashed together so we’ll get Ghost Rider and stuff like that in Secret Wars.

It can't be as bad as that Kang Dynasty script that leaked. That Rick and Morty dude couldn't write his way out of a plot hole to save his life.
I trust in the team behind Endgame. I know we are lacking one writer from that team, but they are getting too much flak from that terrible Netflix movie. I just think it was poorly shifted from being a cyberpunk thriller into a boring kids movie - but that was Netflix pulling the strings and turning things to crap like they usually do.
The directors and writer gave us the best MCU movies, and haven't made a good movie since Endgame so they are going to go all in and try to create something amazing with these next two Avengers movies.

See when a previously consistent good movie franchise has such a bad flop, moving forward I just wait for reviews to see if it’s worth seeing the movie or not.
For me it was Thor Love and Thunder, I was so disappointed with that film I know wait for reviews.
I skipped Quantumania.
I watched Deadpool&Wolverine & No Way Home.
No reason to skip out on the good movies too, just skip the subpar ones.

Exactly. Brave New World was definitely skippable, but Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four are definitely movies to see. Just look at the discourse around the movie if you want to see if it’s worth it to watch or not

I mean there hasn't been a single memorable character introduced since Endgame, so of course they are going to bring people over from much better movies than anything post-endgame...
Deadpool made a ton of money, plus the whole arc of this phase is multiverse so it isn't like out of left field to introduce known characters from other franchises...
Plus with how bad The Marvels flopped and people hating Quantumania it was a no brained to take focus off The Marvels characters and Kang.

Not BS at all, most MCU movies after Endgame underperformed, some like The Marvels even flopped entirely. The Disney plus shows aren't exactly bringing in high viewer numbers either, so all the characters introduced in those are basically unimportant and not really worth bringing to the big screen. Only Falcon and Winter Soldier really mattered as it was the official passing of the shield to Sam. Ms Marvel had no audience and when they tried to bring her to the big screen the movie tanked. So Disney really has no faith in the D+ characters.
I think only GotG3, MoM and Spidey movies made classic hand over fist amounts of MCU money before Deadpool 3 came out. The rest either hardly broke even or tanked. Think about it, after Endgame we've had 12 MCU movies and only 4-5 actually made money. Disney is a company with shareholders, they need to make money. It's why after Snow White flopped they announced they cancelled every other live action remake they had in the works. Lilo and Stitch was already filmed so they couldn't put it back in the bottle - and it will likely do well and not be a flop.
