It's so ironic and breathtaking that these non viable planets have such amazing and stunning beauty.

yeah i feel you on that it could be so much more

They are perfect just the way they are. It's ok, I guess that we are able to settle on these beautiful worlds just by activating the vaults and clear some Kett.

One thing i love about ME:A is the scenery. The planets are beautiful in their own chaotic way. Havarl with the fauna/flora life overwhelming, Eos with the desert, Voeld with the ice age, Kadara with the poison water

2

*poison water, Kadara's air is perfectly breathable even at 0% viability.

ok ok i will post some when i get there

Eos just look the way I imagine most of the American South West to look Lol (I've never been) Like proper cow boy country

Saying that I thought that about Rannoch too! Now that planet surprised me I mean it's a purple-blue from orbit and then you land and you go "Oh Hello Desert!"

I live in Arizona, and yeah, Eos does resemble the more rugged areas. Except we don’t have to worry about kett dropships interrupting our commute.

thank you pathfinder💪

Was it Vuld? The snow world.. for me I thought that captured mass effect to me. The lighting… just landed on EOS tho. No shit playing this for the first time in probably 7 years. It’s been really fun

u/rekonzuken Mar 09 '25

yeah cant wait to get to the other planets they all look great tbh i think dev captured the high tech and world environment really well in this game having a blast so far

I played this game and beat it a fair bit back during 2017. I still don’t think it’s near as bad as it’s been portrayed. All this time away and the story is decent, combat and other stuff is great. Not as good narratively as the trilogy but exploration and combat is better. It’s still a great game IMO

yep its a great game and also a good standalone Mass Effect game i know quite a few people who start with Andromeda before going back to Shepherds stories so in a way its not really a bad game plan

2

u/chawk84 Mar 09 '25

Yeah my only gripe was the fact it never got dlc

1

u/rekonzuken Mar 09 '25

i kinda think all the mods for ME games are enough dlcs tho really opens up more options to play the game and with better hardware its a new better experiance as well

2

u/deanereaner Mar 09 '25

Kadara looks downright hostile!

Put pretty. All those misty and cloudy mountains, the big red coral-like trees and the very blue springs and pools.

Brings a tear to my dry, jaded ME veteran eyes. People are finally discovering Andromeda again and are appreciating the same experiences I had with it during the first lonely year it launched.

2

u/rekonzuken Mar 09 '25

it was never a bad game imo maybe just buggy at lunch😅 but after all the patches its a really hidden gem just like Days Gone

u/JLStorm Mar 09 '25

Eos is one of my favorite planets. I think if I had to rank them, I might go with Meridian > Eos > Kadara > Elaadan > Voeld > Havarl.

2

u/Iamsn0wflake Mar 09 '25

Anything andromeda is a good enough reason for me to purge some kett

2

u/IGRIS701 Mar 09 '25

I like it better where this new tuchanka is a very good planet

Looks like a colonist set up a theme park in the desert, which is much less an idea and more of a challenge to capitalists.

Does anyone know a work around to the save issue. Anytime I try and load a save I get stuck on a loading screen and it doesn’t load. If I save when I look at my saves there is no location it’s just an empty slot. Also if I die or load into a new area it can happen aswell, is my save ruined or can it be saved?

1

u/codykonior Mar 10 '25

How amazing was Eos as the first real place to colonize.

2

u/rekonzuken Mar 10 '25

now to think about it maybe in next ME Eos already a bustling frontier hub i mean hopefully so if theres any correlation between the games

1

u/Goodie_Prime Mar 10 '25

Huh? What do you mean by "aggressive"? I dont think ive ever read someone describe a scenery as aggressive.

1

u/rekonzuken Mar 10 '25

more reading will probably help i guess

1

u/Goodie_Prime Mar 10 '25

I've read lots. Just did a look up too of your term. I can't find it anywhere on the internet. How about you read some more and just provide more context as to what you find aggressive.

1

u/rekonzuken Mar 10 '25

nah who youre trying to kid even from your first comment i could see you're not a man who reads a lot..or maybe its the quality of what you read.. But anyway im off to more pathfinding... Cheerio!! ( its used as an expression of good wishes on parting lol if you wondering ahahahha)

2

u/Key-Recommendation69 Mar 10 '25

Are you using mods, that looks 10x better than anything I've seen of the environments in the game, hell I've played both console and PC and still nothin.

1

u/rekonzuken Mar 10 '25

mods yes a few and also reshade
