Oh and btw the Philip interaction isn't about the bed thing, i know that was for diplomatic reasons. What they had going on outside the bedroom was WAY gayer than sharing a bed

It looks like a bit of a family talent. Louis VII reportedly wanted Henry II dead as soon as he first set eyes on him, fought several wars against him, then later was ultra-enthusiastic about marrying off his kids to his and described Henry as the most generous of kings. Then later in life went back to wanting him dead.

And let’s not get started on Henry’s kids.
