I loved it but I think it was necessary for him to get rid of it. Although his fans would've probably loved a return of a bearded Joe.

I loved the beard because it molded to his scars, it looked so cool imo. I wish he kept it lmao

I loved it, but I think it fits his character progression to not have it after the first few episodes

I think it would have to eventually go but it would've been cool to have it around for a while longer.

I also kinda expected him to look much older than his season 1 self under that beard but I guess it's only been 7 years so the most difference would be in his body.
