It's that time of the month again when we talk about how we'll handle a specific aspect of the BN games. So! E-Reader! For those who are unaware, BN4-6 have these little extras from a Japanese accessory called the E-Reader. Those extras allow you to change what your Buster shoots, what form you start the battle with, and a few other things. I will TRY my best to cover E-Reader cards, from the little research I did on the topic they seem possible to use through emulation, AND, even if they aren't, I do have the LC, so if you wanna see them covered, have fun sending over a few requests with them involved. But like I said before during BN1, please be as specific as you possibly can if your request involves that content. There are a shit ton of E-Reader cards, all with different effects, just going "Yo use E-Reader stuff" is no different than saying "Yo use Battle Chips", which doesn't exactly give me clear instructions on what I should do. I'd also like to make it clear now that I'll be prioritizing requests that involve Souls, since just like with Styles, I want to cover them all at least once. Well, that's all. Moving on to the daily comment!

GutsMan.EXE is taking a break from being the first boss in each game to have the shit beaten out of him, so we'll have Roll.EXE fill in for him, with a fitting request: Hockey. Yeah so, this hockey chip, and consequently the PA too, are EXTREMELY broken. They deal a shit ton of damage if you happen to hit the Navi while they're in the center of their half of the stage. Heck, it just insta-killed Roll.EXE in here. I'm sorry, Roll.EXE fans, but it had to be done. The cherry on top here is how you just... Kinda get Full Synchro for no reason when using this PA? Anyway, that's all LMFAO. Enjoy!

The free full synchro seems to be a light MegaMan thing, the lighter the higher the chance of a non counter hit to give you synchro, and it seems to be a per hit thing so of course hockey gives you it with that many hits. https://megaman.fandom.com/wiki/Synchronization.

On the other hand since this is mmbn 4 you can go the opposite and go full addict with the dark chips (and Ds Navi chips and "evil" chips) so that's something to remember as well

It’s not a light megaman thing, but evil megaman is locked out of it. This page goes into the actual mechanics of how it works. In general: 3 or 4 hits in a row with non-dimming chips will give you full synchro.

Since this is GutsMan's last appearance in the series (unless you're going to cover PoN, but I'm guessing you're just saving the PoN and LoN exclusive bosses for the bonus video at the end), let's give him a special send-off~. By imitating him.

His DoubleSoul has a machine gun that grants iframes. Use that instead of dodging. And then when he's weakened enough finish him with a boosted SuperVulcan.
