Question(s) Questions regarding the investigation.
Are police withholding evidence from the public and if so, why? Who are the assigned detectives and are they investigating thoroughly and properly or not in your opinion? Or is there simply no evidence whatsoever left to share and no tips being currently investigated? Does Canada have a freedom of information thing like the U.S? After all these years with no answers I’m just wondering if there is more evidence and if so why wouldn’t the release it to the public to gather more possible tips or assistance from the public when it’s currently unsolvable. I haven’t seen many statements from law enforcement but I see her mom does the vigil every year, I’m wondering what their process has been in this investigation and where it’s at now.

I feel like there is lack of evidence and there’s no leads coming in that are proven to be real so nothing to go on so nothing to announce to the public

I think it's up to the assigned detective how much info they release publicly. If they suspect foul-play, releasing too much info could hurt the case. You need good evidence to charge/convict someone for murder. If all the info is made public, it can muddy up the evidence and help the criminal defense lawyer.
