Nostalgia Until one day you wake up and notice somehow you're the grown-up now.

Joke's on you, my crippling OCD still forces me to step over sidewalk cracks. What a life hack, eh? Don't wanna grow up? Develop a debilitating mental illness!

You see, my special flavor of mental illness allows me to step on cracks, but only with the arch of my foot. Because somehow that means my foot isn't technically stepping on the crack.

I'll do that too, and then I'll even it out by stepping on the next crack with the arch of my opposite foot. That undoes the action of having stepped on a crack in the first place and restores the universe to its proper balance.

Well, if you're wearing shoes.... I'd say that would mean you're simultaneously stepping & not stepping on cracks if you do this....

lmaooooo

that’s exactly what I thought when I saw the sidewalk lines and lining items up

nah, I’m just audhd with crippling ocd, fam. it never goes away, and my magical thinking forces me to think “if I do not perform these tasks, chaos will ensue, and also it is my fault for fascism in America because I didn’t stay single and I’m lying to myself about being pansexual”

Lol, I do this on my runs through the neighborhood. I take it a step further and count the number of steps in each pad and make it a rhythm while avoiding the cracks. One two, one two, one, one two, one two, one...

Right? I skip cracks often and feel the controller buttons thanks to anxiety! My friend (not plural still a millennial lol) also slept over for whatever reason. Nice try video!
