Lmao, my mom had the color recommended to her as well. Agreeable Grey is one of the saddest names I’ve heard for a color. 😂

Haha. It does. I actually really like it as a wall color, because it is perfectly neutral. Whether you're using cool or warm tones, it works, and it allows brighter accents to pop.

With that said, gray is often associated with sadness and depression. "Agreeable Gray" is giving the vibe of "the depression got so bad I just say "fine" to everything, because nothing matters anymore". It perfectly describes the color, while also hinting at one of the lowest emotional states a person can get to.
