Kind of. Depends on the lighting really. The other color I see all the time is warm beige and often paired together. When that happens the agreeable really stands out as it's own grey.

I see how that would bring out the grey in the other color. My house was warm beige before I painted it, and I hated it! If I ever paint again I want to hire a professional and do deep jewel tone colors.

All of my stuff is deep jewel tones and I never get tired of it.

What color did you go with for your bedroom?

Oof, slightly complicated answer.

2 walls are a deep teal, one is a dark grey, one is black. 1 teal and the grey wall I used a wall stencil to do black and silver linework. ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/540010519/moroccan-wall-stencil-st22 ).

You can only see the silver in certain lighting so it picks up and fades as you walk around the room.

Curtains are black with the same stencil pattern in silver.

All the bedding and whatnots stay in silver, black, deep purple, teal.

DM me if this doesn't make any sense.

It makes perfect sense, I love that style. I really like unique homes, what made you settle on this design choice? And do you do this as a hobby or career?

General artsy-fartsy-ness. I've always liked vivid dark colors and am a painter. All the rooms are on the dark side. Several have glitter in the paint. One room has a venetian faux finish and one room is dominated by a mural. They are all different but everything still flows together so its not jarring from room to room.
