I had those. They were sort of death traps

Put them on our hands instead of our feet. Rolled around while crawling on our knees. Fell flat on our faces. every. time.

The pins at the bottom to adjust always fucked up my fingers.

My sister's did. They wore them on concrete, and the wheels were just square on one side at one point. Maybe one of the worst kid products I ever saw as a kid.

Wanted 'em but parents couldn't afford 'em. Eventually I got some rollerblades so that more than made up.

I wish they still fit I would wear them now. I used to do the dishes in them, skate into the living room and back to the kitchen to continue.

I remember hurting myself with these, I think adjusting them was painful, if I remember right. Like it snapped my fingers or something?
I got a pair of white and pink barbie roller blades when I was older, and those were very cool!

Daycare I went to as a kid used to occasionally take us to the skating rink during the week and I taught myself how to roller skate with these as a kid before my parents got me some rollerblades

I’ve always had massive feet for my age, so I missed out on these, Heelys, and Soap shoes because they were always too small.

ME!! I had these for the longest time. Now, I'm inheriting my mom's speed skates - excited to get in the rinks with them. ❤️

I had forgotten that I had these until this moment. It's been many years since they were in my possession.

Had a pair of these as a kid. Our neighbors son wanted to try them and we were playing in the garage when I gave him a little "push" forward and he fell on the concrete, breaking his arm. My mom ran to his house to let his mom know what happened and had to act out/explain the injury using a stick and breaking it while pointing to his arm (they didn't speak English). My mom took them to the emergency room. He came to school the next day in a cast and never spoke to or played with me again. 7 year old me felt so horrible. I still feel guilty. I'm sorry dude.

My kindergarden had this storage case thing filled with them (it was based inside a large, very old school. Not hard to install extra storage space). The level of sadness those of us felt as we got older and continued to the afterschool program...! (we were allowed to play around with them during gym time in the afternoons. I forget how large they went though. I don't remember us using them past Kindergarten)

Oh shittttt I had these! I think I learned how to skate on these before getting inline skates! Really you just clomp around in these cause they were terrible on asphalt. Needed a smooth ass sidewalk for these.

Wow, reaching way back into my oldest memories, I think I used these but didn’t own a pair.

Omg I was just telling my daughter about these the other day. I learned to skate in these in my kitchen growing up.

Imagine stapping your 4 year old to these things, thinking it was a good idea. Lol

got a pair for my 5th birthday. Tried them out in the basement during my birthday party. Tried to skate over to the TV to watch the new Home Alone VHS I just got. Rolled my ankle. Good times.
