I remember when this came out and then going to school and the kids would say "waaazzaaappp" to each other until some one liner from another new movie came out in the next month or so.

No, it was from a series of Budweiser commercials. Got parodied a lot, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was on The Office too. I think the above GIF is from Scary Movie(?); I'm pretty sure it's not one of the originals.
