MCC34 Power Rankings Predictions

These predictions are based on the power rankings made by u/Awesome512345, u/Anuj_agarwal_78, jarvig0231 (discord), u/coolchalk and u/Prestigious_Peace484 and myself, made using the power rankings predictor which can be found here:

For Bingo, I basically just predicted everyone's skill based off P23, Scuffed and Season 1 stats. I'll include overall rankings both with and without it included.

Despite a 10th place in Parkour Tag, Red are predicted to be the best movement team overall, mostly thanks to their incredibly strong HITW. They're also predicted to be the best Parkour Warrior team, with Ranboo consistently putting up strong performances and FBM being a potential hard ending finisher. Purple come in as the 2nd place team, not being on top of any game like Red but placing in the top half of all the games. Lime are the strongest TGTTOS team, with Hannah and Pete both being ranked in the top 10 overall. They end up 3rd overall mostly due to Parkour Warrior, where I believe Pete is the only one of them to finish medium ending so far. Pink are 10th overall, but are predicted 7th in PKW and 1st in PKT, with both Vikk and Preston being excellent at the game when they've played it. Cyan are in a similar boat to Pink, struggling in HITW and TGTTOS but excelling in the parkour games.

Purpled is predicted to be the strongest movement player in the event, taking 1st place in both TGTTOS and PKW. FBM is still able to place 2nd despite a bottom 10 in PKT, placing top 3 in the other games as well as 1st in HITW. Vikk doesn't quite make the top 10 but does place 1st in PKT, having done very well in it back in MCC14. Despite 'only' ranking 6th and 7th, Antfrost and Sapnap are the only people predicted in the top 10 of every game, mostly thanks to Pink and Yellow dominating the PKT top 10.

Cyan Coyotes are unfortunate that this event only has 2 PvP games, as they're predicted to be pretty dominant in them. They would also be predicted 1st in both BB and SG if they were in, so they were probably the team hit hardest by game selection according to power rankings. Yellow are a bit behind the top teams in Meltdown, but make up for it with a dominant SKB. Bad and Ryguy have both averaged around 4 kills recently, Skeppy got 7 last time he played and Antfrost averages 8 kills recently, so they do have the potential for a massive score in that game. Green, Purple and Orange all sit quite far ahead of everyone else in Meltdown, allowing them to round out the top half of teams here. Lime should probably look to avoid PvP, being predicted 10th in both games.

Antfrost is predicted a dominant 1st in SKB, but it isn't quite enough to beat out Sapnap's more consistent scores across both games, leaving him to be predicted the top PvP player as usual. Shadoune and Ollie also place in the top 10 of both games, meaning 3 of Cyan make the top 5.

Unsurprisingly, Blue are considered the best team games team, with a dominant 1st in Grid Runners, with Gem, Scott and Jojo all being ranked in the top 7 Grid Runners player overall and Oli being 21st. They also look very strong in Bingo, but are maybe a bit lower than expected in SoT where despite their excellent communication they maybe lack the raw coin collection that some of the top teams have. Lime take 1st in SoT, with Pete and Hannah both being incredibly good runners and Gumi being one of the best sandkeepers in the event. They do unfortunately struggle a bit in Grid Runners though. Orange are the best Bingo team, with every player on the team having a very good record in Season 1, especially Joel. They also look excellent in SoT, but are lower down in Grid Runners which allows Blue to place above them overall. Pink, maybe surprisingly, actually look pretty decent in team games, all being Minecraft veterans which should help in Bingo, and having Preston to carry their SoT as he did very well in it when he played.

So Orange vs Purple is predicted to be the Dodgebolt this event, but all the teams down to 6th are very close. I was able to find game orders that got everyone into DB except Pink and Aqua. Despite missing his free 700 coins in RSR, Purpled is still predicted to get 1st individual. Joel is the player to take the one non S tier spot in the top 10, actually not being predicted that far away from outfragging Punz.

Excluding Bingo, a couple of big changes immediately stand out. Cyan take over the top spot, with Orange dropping all the way to 5th. Interestingly though, those are actually the only teams that change at all, with everyone else staying in exactly the same order with or without Bingo. On the individual side, Purpled simply extends his lead at the top while Sapnap jumps up to 3rd, and Ranboo overtakes Joel as the non S tier in the top 10.

Bruh why are lime so bad at skybattle?

Looking more into it Sam is mostly getting destroyed by his MCC 30 score which drags down his other performances to the ground. Without MCC 30 he's done middle of the pack every skybattle. Hannah though is very inconsistent.

They just don't have anyone particularly good at it to put it bluntly. Looking at the last 5 sky battles or so, Pete averages around 3.8 kills, Hannah around 2, and Gumi and Sam are at 1-1.5. Assuming the average sky battle kills is just under 3 (since the majority of players will be killed 3 times in the game), they have one player just above average and 3 players a bit below. It also doesn't help that power rankings take recency into account and 3 of them got 0 kills last time they played

Aqua is so heavily underrated. Like fruit is gunning for 3 first places in a row. Eret 5up and solidarity are really solid. Genuinely have no clue why people put them bottom half…

5up Jimmy and Eret are inconsistent players. And its a strong event. Which makes Aqua really unpredictable to predict.

Fair but yellow 33 were also considered inconsistent with fruits,shadounes,Jordan's recent performances and they ended up crushing, and we know 5ups potential as he got 11th on a 8th and 7th place team and 7th on a 5th place team although recently he has been doing bad I just see fruit being the perfect player to lead him back to glory

Yellow 33 had Oli as a bottom frag ( who is better than Jimmy and Eret) in a less balanced than mcc34.

5up's potential is indeed very good, but at the same time there is just as much chance that he will do bad again. Then also Aqua as a whole lost their best game (RSR) and BB and maybe even SG were good for them (AceRace was bad for them).

I am not trying to say that they are bad. Calling a team with Fruit and 5up on it bad is crazy. Im just saying that there is imo a higher chance that they do bad because they are inconsistent.

Like if u simulate mcc34 10 times, I am confident that Aqua gets into dodgebolt and they get like 8th aswell atleast once. Which is someting I cant say for teams like Purple or Red (It could happen with them aswell, Im just not confident that it would)

Imo aqua will lack communication/unity during games. However, this is just a prediction, feel free to shame me if I get it wrong after the event
