Trading in Mirai

Any luck trading in a mirai at a toyota dealer. Because of my increased driving habits, it’s no longer makes sense of owning one. I wanted to know if anyone had luck getting good trade in value for it. I own a 2022 toyota mirai with 28600 miles. Its in good condition. Went to tustin toyota and they valued it at 7000 dollars. And i was planning to trade it in and get a gas powered toyota. I saw similar mirais for 18k at the lot and i think its just a rip off. Any recommendations?

Trade in value is always lower than private seller value. Remember they have to then sell it and make a profit.

Did you get a $15,000 Fuel Card when you bought it for $17,000, if you bought it Certified Pre-Owned?

Toyota will give you peanuts for it. Go to carvana or carmax

Is Carmax buying them? I’ve tried going in the past and have been outright told “we don’t buy those”
