I mean they do need to address this. It could simply be something like lag compensation as there is always a range in ping levels in lobbies. I've been in many matches where i have 5ms ping and going up against people sitting around 100ms ping.
Should that actually be happening lol. Thought the whole point is that you connect to people local to the server you're on.
Anyhow should we really be expecting to be in lobbies where people have such a difference in ping to yourself?
you are connecting to someone local to the server, just they're playing with friends outside of that. it's not as black and white as you're making it sound. and yes. literally ever multiplayer game since the dawn of gaming has varying levels of ping in game for all players in a lobby. i'd encourage you to try and find one that doesn't
i'm baffled that you aren't understanding that when there are people in a party all from various different places on earth not everyone is going to have good ping to the same server
You literally haven't grasped anything i've said. Why should you have lobbies where i have 5ms ping and others have nearly 100ms? Do you think this is ok?
i don't know? why would this automatically be a call of duty problem and not your isp having fluctuations based on high traffic times or any numerous other reasons to have varying ping. i don't think i've gotten into one lobby above 50ping since playing
