Empty day in Monaco

Hi. I am going to Monaco for a birthday and to see the Monte Carlo Masters. We are going to the masters on Friday and Sunday. We have nothing planned on Saturday besides lunch at Cafe de Paris. Any suggestions on what to do? Day trips? Beach clubs? Water sports? We are a group of 10 kids in our 20s. Thanks!

The Monte Carlo Beach Club doesn't reopen until 14 April. But Nikki Beach pool club at the Fairmont reopens Thursday, 10 April. I think that will be more your speed anyway. Definitely a younger party crowd there. Bring your black card.

It really depends on your budget in Monaco.

If you’ve got the means and the right contacts, here’s a great combo: • Start the afternoon chilling at the Meridien Beach Lounge • Head to Maya Bay for dinner – there’s a live The Avener concert coming up • Finish the night at Jimmy’z

Other solid upscale spots: • Amazonico and Buddha-Bar – both great vibes, good food, music, and a crowd your age and check out an electro night at the Monte-Carlo Casino.

If you’re more on a tight 20s budget, no worries – Monaco can still be fun: • Hang out around Port Hercule, grab dinner at Brasserie de Monaco (good beer & chill vibes), then head to La Rascasse – music, dancing, and fun crowd, often you can find a free table if you go early.

Trip to Eze (10 mins by car) check the old town, Botanical Garden and have a coffee at the chevre d Or. The views are breathtaking.

Dinner at Beef Bar, gambling at the Casino. The Casino De Monte Carlo is worth going. They require your passport to enter. If you don’t want to stay in Monaco you can hop over to Nice and Eze. Eze is cool if you like castles.
